How we put sustainability into practice

EcoVadis assessment
Every year, EcoVadis evaluates the quality of companies’ sustainability management systems based on four criteria: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. At Imtech, we have succeeded in continuously improving our score over the past few years, and we remain committed to maintaining this upward trend. In 2024, with an above-average score of 68/100, we ranked in the top 8% of our industry. This distinguishes us from other companies in the Electrical Engineering, Sanitary and Other Building Installations sector.
CO₂ footprint
Imtech is implementing several initiatives to further reduce its CO₂ footprint. For example, our office building in Naninne is equipped with a CO₂ heat pump with a particularly low GWP (Global Warming Potential), and we regularly offer maintenance services to our customers. This promotes energy efficiency and extends the lifespan of our technical installations.
In addition, we have electrified our entire passenger car fleet. Within one year, CO₂ emissions from passenger cars decreased from 1,398 tonnes to 1,011 tonnes of CO₂ in 2024, an absolute reduction of nearly 30%.
We also see the positive results of our efforts in our development over the years. In the report on our annual CO₂ emissions, we observe an absolute decrease of more than 20% between 2021 and 2024.
