Imtech earns another silver EcoVadis badge and improves its score by 10 points

This year, Imtech achieved a score of 78/100 in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment, placing us in the top 4% of our industry. As a technical partner striving to set an example in the construction sector, we are constantly working to improve our sustainability score, and this year was no different.

Each year, EcoVadis assesses the quality of companies' sustainability management systems based on four areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Imtech scored above average on each of these areas.

Environment (management of the environmental impact of the company's operations and products): 85/100
Ethics (corporate integrity): 76/100
Labour and human rights (internal social responsibility): 79/100
Sustainable procurement (attention to sustainability among suppliers): 70/100

This score confirms that sustainability is an important part of how Imtech works. We will keep strengthening our sustainability approach and take a critical look at the areas for improvement in each of the four themes. This way, we aim to sustain this positive trend in the years ahead, keep making progress, and further reduce our environmental impact.

Cordeel Group, together with SDM Corporate Finance Group and Imtech’s management, has achieved a strategic capital reinforcement via the Smart Deal platform. This provides Imtech with the necessary resources and a broader shareholder base to accelerate its growth and innovation. Belgian first with green hydrogen boiler in workshop

With the help of an ambitious climate plan, Port of Antwerp-Bruges is aiming for climate neutrality by 2050. Hydrogen plays an important role in this transition. As such, the port aims to be a leader in the local and international hydrogen economy. In collaboration with Imtech, Remeha and Solencopower, a pilot project has been launched at one of the port's buildings with a boiler running entirely on green hydrogen to demonstrate the feasibility of this climate-neutral technology. It is the first time such a boiler has been used in Belgium for a workshop of this size.

Imtech achieves silver badge and significant improvement in second EcoVadis scoring

Imtech has secured a silver badge in its second EcoVadis scoring, marking an impressive improvement of 5 points, reaching 65/100 points. We now stand proudly in the top 8% of businesses evaluated by EcoVadis within the Electrical, Plumbing, and Other Construction Installation Activities industry.

Imtech provides HVAC- and sanitary installations for new tropical zone in Pairi Daiza

Imtech (Building Technics) will be responsible for both the sanitary- and HVAC installations for The Sanctuary, one of the new worlds of animal park Pairi Daiza.

E&I works at Sanofi in Geel

Imtech Industrial Solutions is carrying out works on the production site of Sanofi in Geel. The pharmaceutical manufacturer is starting a new production line for the production of a new biological medicine used for the treatment of hemophilia. The medicine, a protein, will be produced by living cells in three new large bioreactors. Imtech Industrial Solutions is responsible for the entire E&I part of this project, providing a staggering 13,500 input/output signals.
